Both wagons feature NEM standard coupler pockets fitted with NEM narrow tension‑lock couplers positioned at the correct height. The TF25 low track‑force bogies are highly detailed, with brake blocks aligned with the wheels and 110‑profile wheel‑sets mounted on 26 mm axles over the pinpoints.
First supplied in 2006, nearly 200 of these wagons are in service with three operators across five liveries. They are used for stone trains from quarries in the Mendip area of central England and have also appeared on Anglo‑Scottish sand trains serving the glass‑making industry.
