Model features and specifications
First delivered in 2006, nearly 200 of these wagons are in service with three operators in five different liveries. The HOA wagons are used for stone trains from quarries in central England, the Mendips and have also seen service on Anglo-Scottish sand trains for glassmaking.

Revolution Trains HOA Aggregate Hoppers Ermewa Tarmac Twin Pack A (Manufacturer Part Number OO-HOA-231) represents the rebuilding of the railways period. The pack contains two wagons, each bearing an individual running number (6957 000‑7 and 6957 010‑6) and appropriate decoration.
The models are produced in highly detailed OO gauge, 1:76.2 scale, with NEM standard coupler pockets fitted with NEM narrow tension‑lock couplers positioned at the correct height. They feature TF25 low‑track‑force bogies with brake blocks aligned with the wheels and 110‑profile wheel‑sets on axles, measured 26 mm over the pinpoints.
