Heljan Class 14 Teddy Bear model (ex British Rail Green) represents the Blue Circle Cement locomotive, originally numbered D9526. The model is supplied in a weathered Blue Circle livery and is built to OO gauge. It is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket and all wheels fitted with power pickup. The locomotive is fitted with NEM/Tension‑lock couplings and runs on diesel power, with a maximum speed of 40 mph.
Key specifications: wheel arrangement 0‑6‑0, minimum radius 1st radius (371 mm), built between 1964 and 1965 by British Railways at Swindon, total production of 56 units. The prototype served for three years before withdrawal in November 1968. Manufacturer part number 1405, ordered by British Railways and operated by Blue Circle Industries PLC. The period represented by the model is pre‑grouping.
