Heljan Class 14 D9500 in British Rail green is a preserved OO‑scale model representing the British Rail Class 14 diesel locomotive built between 1964 and 1965. It carries the original BR green livery with a coaching stock roundel and displays the running number D9500.
The model is finished in pristine condition and is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket. It features directional lighting, power pickup from all wheels, NEM/Tension‑lock couplings and a minimum curve radius of 371 mm (1st radius). The locomotive is equipped with a 0‑6‑0 wheel arrangement and a top speed of 40 mph.
The real Class 14 was built at Swindon by British Railways, with 56 units produced. They entered service in 1964–65, were withdrawn in May 1969 after four years of operation, and carried the early British Railways crest. The model bears the manufacturer part number 1400.
