Heljan Class 14 No.31 is an OO gauge model of a British Rail Class 14 locomotive, presented in National Coal Board (NCB) blue livery. The model is supplied in a pristine finish and is DCC ready with an eight‑pin socket.
The locomotive features a 0‑6‑0 wheel arrangement, diesel motive power and a maximum speed of 40 mph. Power is collected from all wheels and directional lighting is fitted. It can negotiate a minimum radius curve of 371 mm (first radius) and is fitted with NEM / tension‑lock couplings. The model carries the running number 31.
The prototype was built by British Railways' Swindon Works between 1964 and 1965, with a total production run of 56 units. It was operated by the National Coal Board and carried the early British Railways crest. Heljan's manufacturer part number for this model is 1402.
