The Bachmann Class 04 shunter D2334 is offered in OO gauge at a 1:76 scale. It represents a 0-6-0 diesel‑mechanical shunting locomotive built by Drewery Car Co. at the Vulcan Foundry and later by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns between 1948 and 1962, with a total production run of 144 units. The prototype served British Rail and various industrial operators, chiefly for shunting duties, and remained in service until 1971.
The model measures 108 mm in length and features a plastic and metal chassis with NEM pocket couplings and a tension‑lock coupling type. It does not include directional or interior lighting, and there are no passenger figures or sound decoders fitted. The DCC capability is not provided, and the locomotive is supplied without any DCC sound or decoder equipment.
