Accurascale Class 31 No 5674 is a highly detailed OO gauge (1:76.2) model of a British Railways diesel locomotive in BR green with full yellow ends and the late crest. The model represents a locomotive built by Brush Traction between 1957 and 1962 and carries the manufacturer part number ACC2739‑5674. It is finished to a pristine standard and includes interior lighting.

The chassis is a heavy die‑cast metal construction with RP25‑110 profile wheels on an A1A‑A1A wheel arrangement. All wheels are powered and the model features accurate under‑body details such as a battery box, air tank, pipework and etched metal roof grille, nameplates and handrails. The minimum curve radius is 438 mm (radius 2 on set track) and the coupling system uses Kinetic NEM mounts with tension‑lock couplers.

The locomotive is DCC ready, fitted with a 21‑pin MTX socket and optional factory‑installed ESU LokSound V5 sound package, including a wheel flange squeal sensor. A PowerPack supercapacitor Stay‑Alive system provides uninterrupted power, flicker‑free lighting and continuous sound. The model is driven by a high‑quality 5‑pole motor with helical gearbox, capable of a scale top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h).

Lighting is fully detailed with directional day and night clusters, switchable red and white marker lights, separate cab lighting and an illuminated driver’s desk that responds to movement. The model also includes a working scale speed roof fan that operates on both DC and DCC, with fan speed programmed for realistic motion on DCC control.
