Accurascale Class 30 D5615 is an OO gauge (1:76.2) model of a British Railways diesel locomotive in BR green livery with the late crest. The locomotive is DCC ready, fitted with a 21‑pin socket, and has a 1‑pin small yellow panel and a LU trip cock. It represents a Class 31 with an A1A‑A1A wheel arrangement, built by Brush Traction between 1957 and 1962. The model number is ACC2735‑D5615 and it carries all‑wheel power pickup, NEM / tension‑lock coupling and a minimum radius of 2 (438 mm).

The chassis is heavy die‑cast metal and includes etched metal and plastic detail parts such as grab handles, steps, wipers and a pre‑painted nameplate. Scale‑accurate roof grille, snowploughs and full under‑body battery box with pipework are provided. The locomotive features a working speed roof fan that operates on DC and DCC, a PowerPack supercapacitor stay‑alive system for uninterrupted power and flicker‑free lighting, and a high‑quality 5‑pole motor with helical gearbox capable of a scale top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Lighting is fully detailed with directional clusters, switchable red and white markers, separate cab lights and an illuminated driver’s desk.

At present there is no preserved Class 30 with a Mirlees engine, so a sound option is not available for this model.
