Here is a summary of the article in neutral, factual language, using British spelling and terminology.

The Dapol GWR Toplight Mainline City coaches are a new release in OO gauge, depicting the GWR's 3910 set 5. These coaches were built at Swindon Works between 1920 and 1921, with the first order being placed in 1915 but delayed due to World War I. Six sets of coaches were produced, each consisting of six cars, and were designed to operate on the London Underground system, with a reduced height to accommodate the restrictive tunnel loading gauge.

The coaches were originally used for commuter services from Reading and Windsor into the City of London, but the service was curtailed at the start of World War II. After the war, the coaches were used on longer-distance services, but were eventually withdrawn from revenue-earning service by December 1956, with all coaches gone by December 1957. One coach was converted into a workman's coach for a miners' service in 1958.

Dapol's model of the GWR Toplight Mainline City coaches will feature highly detailed and accurate components, including a highly detailed chassis, separate metal door and commode handles, and wire end handrails. The model will also include a highly detailed interior, internal lighting, and directional tail lamp. The coaches will be available in GWR brown livery and will be designed to operate on R2 radius curves.
