Prototype information

Accurascale has released a set of three OO gauge HBA MGR Hopper Wagon models, part of their Loadhaul range.

The models are finished in pristine condition and feature a Loadhaul livery. Each wagon is represented by a different running number: 368111, 368117, and 368389.

The wagons are designed for use on OO gauge track with a minimum radius of 438mm (2nd radius Set-track). They weigh a minimum of 40g and feature a die-cast chassis for added weight.

The models are highly detailed, with features such as rivets, framing, strapping, and accurately profiled door 'horns' inside the wagon. The wheels are OO gauge RP25-110 profile with separate brake blocks in line with the tread. Other details include sprung metal buffers, dummy instanter couplings, and etched metal details such as brake levers and chassis plates.

The models are designed to represent the different variations of the HBA MGR Hopper Wagon, including as-built, rebodied, and CDA versions. Each version features different hopper door styles, canopy styles, and other details such as brake operating equipment.
