Prototype information

Accurascale has released a set of three OO gauge HDA MGR hopper wagons in Railfreight Red livery. The set includes wagons with running numbers 368145, 368284, and 368319. The models are finished to a high standard with a pristine finish and are equipped with NEM couplings.

The HDA wagons were built by various British Rail workshops between 1964 and 1982 and were used by British Rail Railfreight. The models are highly detailed, featuring a die-cast chassis, detailed interior, and etched metal details. The wheels are RP25-110 profile and have separate brake blocks.

The models are designed to be highly poseable, with a minimum radius curve of 438mm and a weight of 40g minimum. The set includes sprung metal buffers and dummy instanter couplings, as well as a variety of other details such as air pipes, lamp irons, and safety catches.

The HDA wagon type is one of several variants included in the Accurascale range, which also features CDA and HAA versions.
