Heljan Class 33 026 “Seafire” is a OO‑scale (1:76) die‑cast model of a British Rail diesel‑electric locomotive. The model is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket and is finished in the Civil Engineers Dutch livery in a pristine condition. It carries the running number 33026, the name Seafire, and uses NEM tension‑lock couplings fitted in NEM pockets.

The locomotive is built to OO gauge and runs on all wheels for power pickup. It features directional and interior LED lighting, square high‑intensity headlights, improved radiator grilles, and sprung buffers. The chassis is die‑cast, the minimum curve is a 2nd radius (438 mm) and it is equipped with a standard NEM coupling mount.

The model represents British Rail Class 33 built between 1960 and 1962, a Bo‑Bo diesel‑electric with a maximum speed of 85 mph and a tractive effort of 45 000 lbf. The real locomotives were built by Birmingham RCW at Doncaster, with 98 units produced, and were withdrawn in December 1964 after 16 years of service. Heljan’s updated version incorporates the later headlight style and modern LED illumination while retaining the historic appearance of the mixed‑traffic locomotive.
