The Heljan British Rail Class 33 063 locomotive is a ready‑to‑run model in the Mainline Freight livery, scaled to OO gauge. It represents the diesel‑powered mixed‑traffic locomotive built between 1960 and 1962, a type that operated on the Southern Region and later on other routes from the mid‑1980s. The model carries the running number 33063, has a Bo‑Bo wheel arrangement and a maximum speed of 85 mph. It is finished in a pristine condition and rides on all wheels for power pickup. The model is designed for use with a 2nd radius (438 mm) minimum curve.

Key specifications include a DCC‑ready 8‑pin socket compatible with RoS‑8HP decoders, NEM couplings, sprung buffers and working directional lighting. The locomotive features working exterior lights, interior cab detail, and is sound ready. It uses a 3454 manufacturer part number and was produced by Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Co. (RCW). The original class comprised 98 units, with 86 built for service from 1962 onward.

The model measures 200 mm in length and is supplied as a stand‑alone unit suitable for mixed‑traffic layouts representing the initial privatisation period of British rail freight.
