Heljan Class 33 008 “Eastleigh” is an OO gauge model of a British Rail diesel locomotive. The kit is finished in pristine condition and measures 200 mm in length. It is presented in the original British Rail green livery with the coaching stock roundel.

The model carries the running number 33008 and the name “Eastleigh”. It uses NEM couplings, a 2nd radius minimum curve of 438 mm, and all wheels are fitted with power pickup. The wheel arrangement is Bo‑Bo and the locomotive is equipped with directional lighting and sprung buffers.

The locomotive is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket and is compatible with a RoS‑8HP decoder. Working lights, sound readiness and detailed exterior and interior cab features are included.

The prototype was built by Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Co. at Smethwick between 1960 and 1962, with 98 units produced. It served the Southern Region of British Rail as a mixed‑traffic machine, capable of handling both freight and passenger duties, and was capable of a maximum speed of 85 mph.
