Direct Rail Services introduced the class 33's during the early 2000's on a new small container intermodal trial. The DRS much loved dark blue paint also featured the short-lived Minimodal branding. The locomotives later worked on acid and nuclear flask traffic. The Locomotives were definitely on a mission and proved a favorite with enthusiast's up and down the country.
