Three wagon multi-pack

Containing three wagons, numbered:

• 50746
• 50650
• 50597

Common features:

• Pack of three wagons, each with individual numbers
• Die-cast metal chassis with plastic body
• 60g Weight per Wagon
• Scale length of 70mm over headstocks
• Wheelbase of 40mm, allowing operation over a minimum radius of 371mm (Radius 1 Set-Track)
• Three styles of wheel design; Split spoke, single spoke and 3-hole disc
• RP25.110 chemically blackened OO gauge wheel sets
• Blackened brass bearings conforming to accurascale standards of 14.4mm back-to-back on 2mm axles over 26mm pinpoints. 
• Eroded metal, plastic and wire detail parts, including, but not limited to, handrails, grab handles, door handles, lamp brackets, vacuum and steam pipes, though pipes, steam heating cock and break gear. 
• Turned sprung metal buffers
• NEM standard coupler pockets

Prototype information

Accurascale has released a new model of the SR D1478 Banana Van in a modified SR livery. The model is designed to represent the period from 1936 to March 1941, during the era of the Big Four railways.

The model is a triple pack, containing three wagons numbered 50746, 50650, and 50597. Each wagon features the SR stone livery with a SR Standard Brown sole bar and black ironwork, and small SR branding on the bottom left. The model is based on the D1478 pattern, with a body width of 32.583mm across the body.

Key features of the model include a die-cast metal chassis with a plastic body, a 60g weight per wagon, and a scale length of 70mm over the headstocks. The wheelbase is 40mm, allowing for operation on a minimum radius of 371mm (Radius 1 Set-Track). The model also features three different wheel designs and RP25.110 chemically blackened OO gauge wheel sets.

The model's underframe includes eroded metal, plastic, and wire detail parts, such as handrails, grab handles, and vacuum and steam pipes. The model also features turned sprung metal buffers, NEM standard coupler pockets, and narrow tension lock couplers. An accessory bag is included, containing steam/vacuum hoses and screw couplings.
