Rapido MR‑206 is a limited edition OO gauge model of LNER Class J70 steam locomotive number 7128, produced exclusively for Model Rail Magazine. Only 500 units were made. The model is supplied in a pristine black finish, with a 6‑pin DCC socket, NEM plus tension lock couplings and directional lighting. It carries the manufacturer part number MR‑206 and represents the Big Four era of British railways.

The prototype locomotive was built by the Great Eastern Railway at Stratford in June 1914 to the design of James Holden. It was a 0‑6‑0T tank engine, class C53, originally ordered by the Great Eastern Railway, later operated by the London and North Eastern Railway. A total of twelve were produced; number 7128 served for forty years before being withdrawn in January 1955.

Model features include a coreless motor, provision for sound decoders, sprung buffers with two buffer‑shank types, safety chains on the bufferbeam where required, full sideplates (or sideplates omitted where appropriate) and optional cowcatchers. The kit offers two styles of central lamp iron, two nose‑end door catch designs, replacement cowcatchers without coupling apertures, and interchangeable end‑mounting plates for two‑ or three‑bolt configurations, as well as options for opened or closed nose‑end doors.
