Rapido MR‑201 is a limited‑edition (500 units) OO gauge replica of LNER Class J70 steam locomotive number 68219, produced exclusively for Model Rail Magazine. The model is finished in a pristine black livery with the early British Railways crest, carries the running number 68219 and is supplied with a 6‑pin DCC socket.

The locomotive features a coreless motor, provision for sound and directional lighting. It is fitted with NEM couplings combined with a tension‑lock system, sprung buffers, safety chains on the bufferbeam where required, and full sideplates with optional cow‑catchers. The minimum curve radius is 371 mm (1st radius) and the wheel arrangement is 0‑6‑0T. Other details include two styles of central lamp iron, two nose‑end door catch designs, replacement cow‑catchers without coupling apertures and separate etches for two‑ and three‑bolt end‑mounting plates. The model can be supplied with either opened or closed nose‑end doors.

The prototype locomotive was built in October 1908 by the Great Eastern Railway at Stratford, to a design by James Holden. Only twelve were produced; the locomotive served the Great Eastern Railway and later British Railways for 44 years before being withdrawn in August 1953. The model represents the early British Railways crest period.
