Peckett Works No. 737/1899 Daphne was purchased new by Howell Lloyd Hardwicke, trading as the Tytherington Stone Co. to shunt at Church Quarry, replacing a road traction engine that had been converted to a 4-2-0 railway locomotive.
Daphne was replaced at Church Quarry sometime after 1919 and in 1923 was sold on to Pilkington Bros. of St. Helen's in Lancashire. Now preserved, Daphne can be found at the Ribble Steam Railway Museum in Preston.
* Class names often change over the lifespan of a locomotive, so this is not necessarily the class name used by the operator in the period modelled.

Hornby PO model of the Peckett W4 Class 0‑4‑0ST steam locomotive “Daphne”, in OO gauge. The locomotive is finished in a pristine red livery with a purple lining, measures 84 mm in length and can negotiate a minimum curve of 371 mm (first radius). It is DCC ready with a 4‑pin socket, features a 3‑pole skew‑wound motor, and uses NEM plus tension‑lock couplings with power pickup on all wheels.
The model represents a pre‑grouping locomotive built between 1885 and 1906, of which 140 were produced. It is illustrated in the livery of the Tytherington Stone Co, the original operator, and carries the manufacturer part number R3702. The prototype, Peckett Works No 737 of 1899, was bought new by Howell Lloyd Hardwicke for shunting at Church Quarry, later sold to Pilkington Bros in 1923 and now preserved at the Ribble Steam Railway Museum, Preston.
