Hattons SECR P Class 0-6-0T (running number 31556) is a OO gauge model presented in British Railways black livery with the early crest emblem. The model is listed as DCC Ready with a 6‑pin socket and is finished to a pristine condition.
The locomotive measures 96 mm in length, runs on a 5‑pole skew wound motor and uses NEM plus tension‑lock couplings. It is able to negotiate a minimum radius curve of 438 mm (2nd radius). The model represents a steam‑powered 0‑6‑0T built between 1909 and 1910, of which only eight were produced. It carries the manufacturer part number H4‑P‑016.
The original design was by Harry Wainwright for the South Eastern & Chatham Railway P class, later operated by British Railways. This model depicts the period when the early British Railways crest was in use.
