Hattons SECR P Class 0‑6‑0T locomotive, running number 5753, modelled in Railway Operating Division (WW1) livery. The model is finished in pristine condition and is built to OO gauge, with a length of 96 mm.
The locomotive is DCC ready, fitted with a 6‑pin socket, a 5‑pole skew‑wound motor and NEM plus tension‑lock couplings. It can negotiate a minimum radius of 438 mm (2nd radius) and is powered by a steam motive. The part number for the model is H4‑P‑014.
Historically, the original SECR P Class 0‑6‑0T was designed by Harry Wainwright and built between 1909 and 1910, with only eight examples produced. The class belonged to the South Eastern & Chatham Railway and was later operated by the Railway Operating Division during the pre‑grouping era.
