Hattons SECR P Class 0‑6‑0T locomotive model 31027 is presented in British Railways black livery with the early crest emblem. The model is built to OO gauge, measures 96 mm in length and features a 5‑pole skew wound motor with a DCC‑ready 6‑pin socket. It uses NEM couplings with a tension lock and can negotiate a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (2nd radius).
The prototype locomotive was designed by Harry Wainwright for the South Eastern & Chatham Railway and entered service between 1909 and 1910, with only eight examples built. It carried the running number 31027 and had a 0‑6‑0T wheel arrangement, operating under steam power.
This model, part number H4‑P‑007, represents the early British Railways crest period and is finished to a pristine standard.
