The Hattons SECR P Class 0‑6‑0T model represents locomotive number 1558, rendered in Southern Railway black with sunshine lettering. It is offered as a ready‑to‑run DCC item with a 6‑pin socket and is supplied in pristine condition.

The model is built to OO gauge, measuring 96 mm in length. It is powered by a 5‑pole skew wound motor and fitted with NEM couplings combined with a tension lock. It can negotiate a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (2nd radius). The locomotive is represented in its original steam motive power.

The prototype locomotive was constructed between 1909 and 1910 to the design of Harry Wainwright for the South Eastern & Chatham Railway. Only eight were built, and the class later passed to the Southern Railway. The model portrays the locomotive as it would have appeared during the Big Four era (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR).
