Hattons SECR P Class 0-6-0T Pioneer II model, finished in Bowaters Paper Mill green, is a highly detailed representation of the South Eastern & Chatham Railway P class locomotive. The model is presented in a pristine condition and carries the manufacturer part number H4-P-009.
The model is built to OO gauge and measures 96 mm in length. It is DCC ready with a 6‑pin socket, uses a 5‑pole skew wound motor and is fitted with NEM plus tension‑lock couplings. The minimum radius curve specified is a 2nd radius of 438 mm. It is designed to run on steam motive power.
The prototype locomotive was constructed between 1909-1910, with a total production run of eight units. It was designed by Harry Wainwright and belongs to the 0‑6‑0T wheel arrangement. The model represents the British Railways Late Crest period.
