The Ellis Clark Trains Quad Art Set No. 85B is a OO gauge model of a BR Maroon 4 coach pack, representing the British Railways Early Crest period. The model features finely detailed bogies with separate variations for centre and end bogies, allowing for prototypical running. The chassis is fully detailed with diecast construction, accurate pipework, and sprung centre connectors for use on curves and points.

The body of the model features detailed coach ends with lit destination boards on brake ends, fully "low glow" interior lighting, and accurate paint and printing detail. The interior is also fully detailed, with etched luggage racks and correct height seats. The roofs are separately fitted with vents and magnetic and push-fit designs.

The model is designed to be used with the NEM pocket system, and features sprung buffers on the brake end coach. The model also includes electrical pickups for lighting and spare brake sets for EM/P4. The set includes four running numbers: E86199E, E86198E, E86197E, and E86196E.

The Quad Art set was a fleet of articulated coaches built between 1923 and 1925, with a total of 97 sets produced for the Great Northern Railway, London and North Eastern Railway, and contractors. The coaches were used extensively on suburban lines, often running in two sets of four to move passengers quickly and efficiently. They remained in service until April 1966, with some sets reaching speeds of 90mph behind an A4 locomotive.
