Dapol 20 t Steel Mineral Wagon – Blaenavon Weathered is a OO‑scale model of a 20‑tonne steel mineral wagon. It is supplied in a weathered finish with a Blaenavon livery, features NEM/Tension‑lock couplings and carries the manufacturer part number 4F‑038‑113. The model represents a wagon used during the era of the British “Big Four” railway companies (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR) and is designed for a minimum curve radius of 1.

The full‑size wagons were of riveted steel construction and were introduced in the 1920s to transport coal and other minerals, offering a more efficient and cost‑effective alternative to earlier wooden 10‑ and 12‑ton open‑top wagons. They remained in service until the 1970s and were fitted with two side doors and an end door for loading and unloading.

The model is highly detailed, with profiled wheels, a superbly printed livery, and a coal or coking‑coal load. It includes NEM pocket sockets and self‑centering couplings, and the body and chassis are moulded with fine detail. Overall dimensions are 97 mm in length over buffers, 33 mm in width and 36 mm in height.
