Locomotive Lifting Hoist

Modelled on a hoist found at Plymouth Laira depot which is still in use today assisting with the maintenance of Locos and rolling stock. An Inspection Pit (Peco LK-56/156) was also often provided.The Rolling Underframe kit (Ref 546A) can be added to transform this unit into a movable crane. Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism (See the Pecoscene Weathering Powder range PS-360 - 365); glue is required to complete this model. Ratio Locomotive Lifting Hoist – Model 545

The Ratio Locomotive Lifting Hoist is a 00/HO lineside kit modelled on a hoist still in use at Plymouth Laira depot for the maintenance of locomotives and rolling stock. An inspection pit (Peco LK‑56/156) was historically supplied alongside the hoist. The kit can be combined with the Rolling Underframe kit (Ref 546A) to convert the hoist into a movable crane. All components are supplied pre‑coloured; optional painting or weathering with the Pecoscene Weathering Powder range (PS‑360 to PS‑365) can be applied for greater realism. Assembly requires glue.
