Many goods yards had weigh bridges so that the 'carriage price' of a load to be carried by rail could be costed. Goods were then loaded into the goods shed. Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism (See the Pecoscene Weathering Powder range PS-360 - 365); glue is required to complete this model. Footprint; Weighing Deck 85mm x 50mm, hut 45mm x 35mm.

Ratio Weighbridge and Hut – model 524 is a 00/HO lineside kit supplied by Ratio. The kit represents a typical goods‑yard weighbridge with an adjoining hut, as frequently found where railway freight loads were weighed before being taken to a goods shed.

The kit is provided with pre‑coloured resin parts; however, additional painting or weathering – for example with the Pecoscene Weathering Powder range PS‑360 to PS‑365 – can be applied for greater realism. All components require glue to assemble.
