Manufacturer description

PECO Streamline OO/HO CODE 75

Turnout, Small Radius, Right Hand

Peco Streamline Code 75 track meets the standards of enthusiasts who prefer to run trains on scale height rail. Today most manufacturers' wheels are suitable for use on Code 75 track but some vintage models may have flanges which are too deep to clear the rail fixings. Code 75 can be easily combined with code 100 track by using the SL-113 Transition Track. The wide range of turnouts and crossings in this series includes every type, and the geometry of this range has been cleverly designed to make it easy to build convenient, complex and aesthetically pleasing formations using combinations of small, medium and large radius turnouts and crossings. Layout plans suggestions can be found in our publications ‘Track Plans for Layouts to Suit all Locations’ (Ref PM-202), ‘60 Plans for Small Railways’ (Ref no PB-3), and ‘Track Plans for Various Locations’ (Ref no PB-66).For more details on Electrofrog turnouts, see our Wiring the Layout publications Nos 4 and 21.

PECO Turnout, Small Radius, Right Hand – Part number SL‑E191

This PECO Streamline turnout is designed for OO/HO scale model railways using Code 75 (3.5 mm) rail. It has a length of 185 mm, a frog angle of 12 degrees and a radius of 610 mm, making it suitable for compact track layouts where a right‑hand, small‑radius change of direction is required. The turnout can be joined to other Code 75 sections with SL‑111 insulated rail joiners or SL‑110 nickel‑silver conducting joiners, and it is fixed to the benchwork using chemically blackened mild‑steel SL‑14 track‑fixing pins.

The product conforms to the specifications outlined in PECO’s Streamline range, which includes a variety of turnouts and crossings that can be mixed with Code 100 track using the SL‑113 transition piece. Layout design ideas are available in PECO’s publications such as “Track Plans for Layouts to Suit all Locations” (Ref PM‑202) and “60 Plans for Small Railways” (Ref PB‑3).
