Manufacturer description

The BR Standard Mk.3 coach was introduced to traffic between 1975 and 1988, on both high speed and locomotive hauled services and quickly became a regular sight on Britain's main line services. When Virgin Trains East Coast lost the East Coast Main Line franchise, the London North Eastern Railway name was revived to run the services, with the first LNER branded train departing from Kings Cross, bound for Edinburgh, on 25 June 2018.

As a regular on the railways and holding the title of first-time LNER depart from Kings Cross to Edinburgh, this coach definitely has earned a spot in your railway landscape or collection! Each model measures 303mm in length.
