Heljan Class 45/0 in British Rail blue livery is offered as a limited‑edition model exclusive to Olivia’s Trains. It represents a British Rail Class 45 (also known as the Sulzer Type 4) built between 1960 and 1962 at Derby and Crewe Works, and depicts the TOPS period of British Rail blue. The model carries Heljan part number 45306 and is supplied unnumbered for the buyer to apply their own identification.

The locomotive has a 1Co‑Co‑1 wheel arrangement, a minimum curve radius of 2, and power is collected from all wheels. Coupling is standard NEM with a tension‑lock device, and the model includes interior lighting, separate LED cab and tail lights, a directional LED headcode panel, and a magnetic wand for independent cab lighting suitable for both DC and DCC operation. It is DCC ready with a 21‑pin decoder interface, a central five‑pole motor with flywheels, floating internal bogie units, sprung buffers and space for a sound decoder and speaker.

Optional detail parts allow representation of variants such as steam‑heat, boiler‑isolated or ETH‑fitted locomotives, with differing nose‑end arrangements, roof designs, bogie and underframe details, and cab interiors. The package includes a comprehensive user manual and a selection of extra detail components. The model was released on 15/09/2024.
