It represents a British Railways late‑crest Class 45 locomotive, with the manufacturer part number 45106, and is DCC ready, accepting a 21‑pin decoder.

The model offers an extensive range of detail options, including steam‑heat, boiler‑isolated and ETH‑fitted variants, five nose‑end configurations, vacuum or dual‑brake systems, and bespoke bodyside grille and plate arrangements. Interior fittings feature highly detailed cab décor, etched boiler step and grille covers, metal wipers, and optional inner‑end sandboxes.
