Heljan Class 45/0 model of locomotive 45033 ‘Sirius’, finished in British Rail blue with full yellow ends and weathered detailing, represents the BR Class 45 built at Derby Works between 1960 and 1962 for mixed‑traffic service on the London and North Eastern region. The model is an OO gauge, 270 mm long, with a Co‑Co wheel arrangement and NEM couplings, and it is DCC ready with a 21‑pin decoder socket.

Key specifications include a maximum speed of 90 mph, power pickup from all wheels, directional and interior LED lighting, and separate control of cab and tail lights. Optional variants cover steam heat, boiler‑isolated and ETH‑fitted versions, with detailed roof, bodyside grille, sandboxes and etched metal components to match individual locomotives. The model features a central five‑pole motor, floating bogie units, sprung buffers and space for DCC sound and a speaker.
