Heljan Class 23 Baby Deltic D5904 is an OO gauge model in British Rail green livery with late crest, fitted with full yellow ends and headcode boxes. The model is finished to a pristine standard and carries the manufacturer part number 2306.
It represents the British Rail Class 23 diesel locomotive built by English Electric at Vulcan Foundry in 1959, of Bo‑Bo wheel arrangement and a maximum speed of 75 mph. The model has DCC Ready capability with an 8‑pin socket, power pickup on all wheels, NEM / tension‑lock coupling and a minimum radius of 2nd radius (438 mm). Only ten locomotives were produced in the real class.
