Prototype information

Accurascale has released a set of three OO gauge China Clay wagons in DB Schenker/DB Cargo UK livery. The wagons are modelled in a pristine finish and feature NEM couplings.

The set includes three wagons with different running numbers: 375002, 375030, and 375091. Each wagon is modelled in an Ex-EWS Maroon or Ex-ECC Blue livery, depending on the wagon's original identity.

The wagons are designed for use on OO gauge tracks and have a minimum radius requirement of 438mm. The minimum weight per wagon is 40g.

Accurascale's OO gauge China Clay wagons are highly detailed, with features such as rivets, framing, strapping, and accurately profiled door 'horns'. The models also include RP25-110 profile OO gauge wheels and sprung metal buffers.

The wagons are available in three body styles: as built, rebodied, and CDA. Each style has its unique features, such as different hopper door patterns, canopy styles, and door operating equipment covers. The wagons also have various bufferbeam brake pipe configurations and wheel variants.

The Accurascale OO gauge China Clay wagons are designed to represent wagons built by BREL at Doncaster in the late 1980s. The models are suitable for modelling the rebuilding of the railways in the UK, particularly during the period from 2009 to the present day.
