It carries the manufacturer part number OR76NRM001 and is supplied in a weathered finish applied by TMC, with a ‘Museum Sheen’ as displayed at STEAM in Swindon. The model includes an 8‑pin DCC decoder socket, making it DCC‑ready.

The prototype was a Great Western Railway freight locomotive designed by William Dean, built at Swindon Works in 1897 and withdrawn from service in 1956. It represents the era of the British “Big Four” railway companies (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR).
