Manufacturer description

The ZB version of the MG Magnette superseded the MGZA and was launched in 1956. It was more powerful than its predecessor and some bodywork modifications on some of the new models included a wider rear windscreen with a wrap-around curved effect round the edges. The ZB was only produced for two years and latterly, the two-tone variant became available with the bonnet, roof lid painted in a lighter shade than the darker bottom half of the body.

Oxford Diecast Ivory/Black MGZB – 1:76 Scale model. Manufacturer part number 76MGZ004. The model represents the British Railways Late Crest period.

The MG ZB Magnette was introduced in 1956 as a successor to the MG ZA. It featured a more powerful engine and revisions to the bodywork, including a wider rear windscreen with a wrap‑around curved edge. Production lasted for two years, ending in 1957. During the final phase a two‑tone finish became available, with the bonnet and roof lid painted in a lighter shade than the darker lower body.

The die‑cast model is supplied in ivory and black livery, accurately reproducing the original vehicle’s details at a 1:76 scale. It is intended for collectors of British automotive and railway memorabilia.
