Manufacturer description

Adhering to William Lyons maxim of "grace, pace and space", the Mark 2 was a beautiful, fast and capable saloon car. It came with either a 2.4 L, 3.4 L or 3.8 L Jaguar XK6 engine. In 1967, the Mark 2 became the 240 and 340, whilst the 3.8 litre engine was dropped; the later cars are identified by slim front and rear bumpers.

Oxford Diecast Jaguar MKII Old English White is a 1:76 scale model produced by Oxford Diecast. It is presented in a pristine finish and carries the manufacturer part number 76JAG2002. The model represents the period when the vehicle would have been painted British Rail Blue, i.e. the pre‑TOPS era.

The real Jaguar Mark 2 was a saloon car designed according to William Lyons' principle of “grace, pace and space”. It was offered with 2.4 L, 3.4 L or 3.8 L Jaguar XK6 engines. In 1967 the model range was revised: the 2.4 L and 3.4 L versions continued as the Mark 2 240 and 340 respectively, the 3.8 L engine was discontinued and the cars received slimmer front and rear bumpers.

This die‑cast replica reflects those historical details in miniature form.
