The kit includes a plastic body and underframe with fine detail, a die‑cast chassis, spring buffers and profiled, blacked wheels to OO gauge society standards. Pin‑point axles are used, and the standard UK hook‑and‑bar couplers are supplied, with NEM couplings provided as removable options.

The body is fully detailed with separate moulded side doors and stanchions to aid kit‑bashing, interior floor, door and stanchion details, door balance springs and arms, and etched stainless‑steel elements where appropriate. Additional components include separate handrails, end steps, lamp brackets, a highly detailed underframe with correct bracing, and detailed bogies. The accessory pack contains buffer‑beam pipes, an operating “Instanter” coupling and an NEM‑compatible drawbar that can replace the regular coupling at the modeller’s discretion.
