The Dapol Class 121 55027 is an OO gauge (1:76) model of a single‑car diesel multiple unit, originally built by the Pressed Steel Company between 1960 and 1961. The model features a die‑cast chassis, NEM pocket couplings with a tension‑lock fitting, and is capable of negotiating the minimum radius of a 2‑chain curve. It carries the revised Network SouthEast (NSE) livery and is identified by the manufacturer part number 4D‑009‑HAT05.

The prototype unit was designed for local passenger duties, accommodating up to 65 passengers, and was operated by a range of companies including Arriva Trains Wales, British Rail, Chiltern Railways, Silverlink, Network Rail and Railtrack. The class remained in regular service on the British rail network until the end of 2017, with fifteen examples surviving into preservation.

This model is intended for collectors interested in the British Rail sectorisation era and does not include a DCC fitting service.
