Rapido's GWR County Class Locomotive in BR Lined Green Early Crest Livery

Rapido Trains has released a new model of the GWR Class 1000 'County' locomotive, specifically the No.1006 'County of Cornwall', in British Railways lined green early crest livery. The model is equipped with a DCC sound decoder, allowing for a realistic and immersive experience.

The model features a single chimney and a Speedo fitted to the front of the locomotive, providing a touch of period authenticity. The parallel buffers are also accurately replicated, adding to the model's overall detail.

The locomotive is designed for operation on 2nd radius curves of 438mm or greater, making it suitable for use on many model railway layouts. The dynamic firebox flicker effect is also present, adding to the model's realism. A 21-pin DCC decoder socket is provided, allowing users to easily upgrade or replace the decoder if required.
