Rapido's GWR County Class 1000 locomotive, number 1019 'County of Merioneth', has been released in a BR Lined Black Early Crest livery. This model features a range of details, including red backed number and name plates, a single chimney, and a Speedo fitted to the cab.
The locomotive is designed for operation on 2nd radius curves of 438mm or greater, making it suitable for many model railway layouts. The model includes a number of features aimed at enhancing the operating experience, such as working dynamic firebox flicker and a 21-pin DCC decoder socket. MoPower stay-alive capacitors are also fitted, helping to prevent power drops when using DCC control.
The model features a museum-quality paint finish and highly detailed bodywork, including NEM coupler pockets for easy coupling and uncoupling.
