This OO gauge model is part of the Rapido USATC S160 collection and is designed to represent the locomotives of the Big Four railway companies in the UK during the 1940s. The model is manufactured by Rapido and is available from 2023.
The model is decorated in maroon livery with a satin finish, featuring the Transportation Corps U.S.A. on the tender. The locomotive was originally built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia in 1943.
The model has been preserved in the UK since 1992 and is currently located at the Churnet Valley Railway. The model features various tooling variations, including standard lamp irons, a straight strap smokebox door, and a PKP air pump, among others.
