Rapido's USATC S160 model, No. 5820 'Big Jim', is a OO gauge model representing the Big Four era locomotives of the LNER, LMS, GWR, and SR.

The model is a part of Rapido's USATC S160 collection, featuring a distinctive light grey satin livery with 'Transportation Corps U.S.A.' displayed on the tender.

The original locomotive, number 5820, was manufactured by Lima Locomotive Works in Ohio in 1945. It was repatriated to the UK in November 1977 and is currently preserved on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.

The OO gauge model was first released in 2014 and has since undergone various tooling variations, including standard lamp irons, a straight strap smokebox door, a PKP air pump with short smokebox handrail, stepped running boards on the right-hand side, right-hand drive with a screw reverser and original pattern firehole door, cab rear shutters fitted, a tender with lockers and coal space storage, an ejector fitted to the right-hand side of the smokebox, a boiler-mounted ejector pipe, and alternate piston valve covers.

A video illustrating these tooling variations is available in the image gallery.
