Coupling is supplied as NEM with tension lock, and it can negotiate a minimum radius curve of 371 mm (first radius).
The prototype, Peckett 1378, was built by Peckett & Sons in 1914 for the War Department. It entered service on the Larkhill Military Railway and, from 1915, worked on the War Department’s Fovant Military Railway where it was named “Westminster”.
