Bachmann USA 0‑6‑0T steam locomotive, model number MR‑111, represents the Southern Railway USA class locomotive S73 in British Railways black livery with “BRITISH RAILWAYS” lettering in the Bulleid Sunshine style. The model is a limited‑edition release for Model Rail Magazine and is finished in a pristine condition.
The locomotive is gauge OO, measuring 119 mm in length, and rides on a 0‑6‑0T wheel arrangement. It is equipped with a six‑pin DCC socket, NEM couplings, wire handrails and a laser‑scanned body and chassis. It runs on a minimum radius curve of 371 mm (the first radius). The model depicts a locomotive built between 1942 and 1943, one of the 382 produced in the original class, and bears the running number S73.
The model was produced exclusively for Model Rail by Bachmann and carries the manufacturer part number MR‑111. It is designed for use with British Railways early crest period rolling stock.
