Bachmann USA 0‑6‑0T steam locomotive model MR‑110, numbered DS237, is a limited edition replica produced for Model Rail Magazine. Only 750 copies were made, each bearing the British Railways early crest in a departmental green livery with the late crest as an alternative.
The model represents a Southern Railway USA class locomotive built between 1942 and 1943, of which 382 were originally produced. It measures 119 mm in length, has a 0‑6‑0T wheel arrangement, and runs on a 6‑pin DCC socket. The chassis and body are laser‑scanned, and the kit includes wire handrails, NEM couplings, and variations for the cab, bunker and smokebox. The minimum curve radius is 371 mm (first radius).
The finish is described as pristine, and the model is intended for the OO gauge scale. It is supplied with a standard NEM coupling and is suitable for use on British railway layouts.
