The Accurascale IIA biomass hopper features several notable changes over the previously announced HYA/IIA coal hopper. As well as the distinctive roof doors and operating equipment, it also has the WH Davis revised design of end plates with just seven wider vertical stiffeners versus 15 on the Romanian-built examples, plus door master controls and four additional small boxes per side that contain the magnetic switches on the real thing for door/hopper operation.

The Accurascale IIA Biomass Bogie Hopper Wagon pack is a OO gauge model, specifically designed to represent wagons operated by GB Railfreight and VTG.

This pack contains two individually numbered and decorated wagons, each with a unique running number and livery. The models are highly detailed and feature a range of authentic details, including etched metal parts and extra fine plastic components.

The wagons are built to a scale of 1:76.2 and are designed to run on 16.5mm track. They feature NEM standard coupler pockets with kinematic close coupling functionality, as well as NEM narrow tension lock couplers at the correct height.

The models are powered by TF25 bogies, which are highly detailed and feature brake blocks in line with the wheels, separate brake shoes, and a brake adjuster. The wheels are blackened RP25.110 profile, with a back-to-back measurement of 14.4mm and an over pinpoints measurement of 26mm.

The wagons are 240mm long over buffers and weigh 160g. They have a minimum radius curve requirement of 2 units.

The models are built to represent wagons from the initial privatisation period, with a build date of 2007 to 2011. The Accurascale IIA Biomass Bogie Hopper Wagons are designed to be highly detailed and authentic, with individual lettering, logos, and codes from real wagons to ensure maximum realism.
