Accurascale has released a twin-pack of OO gauge hopper wagons modelled after those used by Fastline Freight, a company that operated during the early years of railway privatisation in the UK. The wagons are based on the HYA bogie hopper design and are accurate representations of the real thing.

Each wagon in the pack is highly detailed, with features such as etched metal detailing, extra fine plastic parts, and individual lettering and logos. The wheels are blackened RP25.110 profile and feature 14.4mm back-to-back measurements and 26mm over pinpoints. The wagons have sprung buffers and dummy screw link couplers, and are fitted with NEM standard coupler pockets and narrow tension lock couplers.

The wagons are built to a scale of 1:76.2 and are designed to run on 16.5mm track. They are 240mm over buffers in length and 160g in weight. The manufacturer, Accurascale, is based in the UK and has a reputation for producing high-quality models.

The Accurascale wagons are based on real-life vehicles built by IRS in Romania and WH Davis in the UK between 2007 and 2011. They are a great addition to any OO gauge model railway layout depicting the early years of railway privatisation in the UK.
