The Rapido D1744 Ballast Wagon is a model representing a Southern Railway (SR) wagon from the post-36 period. It is part of the Rapido SECR 2 Plank Ballast Wagon collection, which focuses on the South Eastern and Chatham Railway's (SECR) design.

The model is based on SECR Diagram 1744 and features straight-ended planks. It has been produced with injection moulded construction and includes metal detailing parts for added realism.
